What evedeck is, what you may do with it, and what we promise

What evedeck is

Software a business rents by the month: a public website for it, and a set of modules for the things it does every day.

It is provided by us.

What you may do with it

Use it to run your own business, for as long as your plan is paid for.

Give your own staff their own logins, and decide for each of them what they may see and whether they may change it.

Take your information out at any time, and take it elsewhere.

What you may not do with it

Resell it, or run somebody else's business on your account.

Use it to store anything unlawful, or anybody's data that you have no reason to hold.

Try to reach another business's information. Every account is separated, and attempting it will end the account.

Your information, and the law

You decide what to keep about your members, customers, suppliers and staff. We hold it on your behalf and do nothing else with it. Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act you are the Data Fiduciary and we are the Processor: we process only on your instructions, we do not share it, and we return or erase it when you ask.

You are responsible for having a reason to hold what you hold. We are responsible for keeping it safe and for not touching it otherwise.

Paying

Plans are paid monthly in advance. Prices are on the site and any change is told to you before it applies to you.

If a payment is missed, the modules stop and the public website stays up for thirty days. Nothing is deleted while a business is parked.

Stopping

You can stop at any time. There is no notice period and no exit fee.

We can end an account that is being used for something unlawful, or that is trying to reach another business's information.

What we do not promise

That the software will never be unavailable. We run it carefully and we do not promise perfection.

That it will do a job it does not claim to do. What it does is on the site, and a module that is not listed is not included.

Where a dispute is heard

Under the laws of India, in the courts at Guwahati, Assam.
